SANTA BARBARA TOWER/TRACON

     Santa Barbara Airport, also known as Santa Barbara Municipal Airport, is a public airport located 7 miles (11 km) west of downtown Santa Barbara. The Santa Barbara Tower and TRACON facility employs around 40 controllers, techs, and front office staff.  The Tower/TRACON is open from 6am to 11pm local time (13:00 - 06:00 Zulu).  When the Tower/TRACON closes, the airspace is under the control of Los Angeles Center.  The airport is adjacent to the University of California, Santa Barbara and the city of Goleta.  Thank you for visiting our site and we hope you enjoy the information.
